What do chiropractors treat?

Chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, and muscles), as well as the effects these disorders can have on the nervous system and general health.

Chiropractic care can help to reduce and/or eliminate the pain and symptoms associated with various conditions, including (but not limited to):

  • Neck pain

  • Whiplash

  • Lower back pain

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Sciatica

  • Scoliosis

  • Spinal disc injuries such as disc herniation

  • Sports-related injuries

  • Tendinitis

  • Pregnancy-related pain

  • Arthritis

  • Sprains and

  • Joint pain

Who needs to see a chiropractor?

As chiropractic is a non-invasive treatment option, anyone can benefit from chiropractic care, including (but not limited to):

  • Babies that had a traumatic birth, suffer from reflux or colic, have a stiff neck or a flat spot on their head. Babies having difficulty breastfeeding or latching can also be assisted.

  • Children who suffer from muscle and joint pain.

  • Pregnant women – chiropractors can help ensure an easier delivery and minimize pregnancy related aches and pains.

  • Office workers who sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time. Desk work often results in back and/or neck pain and discomfort as a result of poor posture.

  • Factory workers / manual laborer's who spend much of their time performing repetitive physical activities.

  • The elderly who have years of wear and tear on the body which can leave them more susceptible to pain and discomfort.

  • Athletes who are constantly striving to improve their performance and who often push their bodies to the limit in order to achieve their goals. Such constant stress on the body can, in time, cause strain and in later years many neuromusculoskeletal problems may develop.

In short, chiropractic care would benefit everyone - including you!
